STUTZMAN

SOLDIER- Micheal V. "Mike" Stutzman, 54, of Soldier, KS, died Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was born October 15, 1952 in Henderson, NE, the son of George H. and Roberta Ilene Hickman Stutzman. He graduated from Geneva High School in Nebraska.
Mike had lived in Wamego before moving to Soldier in 1993. He worked as a boilermaker in Kansas City, MO and was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local #83 in Kansas City.
He was married to Deb Shanks. They were later divorced. He was married to Jodi Ryman on December 31, 1993 in Oskaloosa, KS. She survives. Other survivors include his father, George Stutzman and stepmother, Margie of Kearney, NE; his sons, Chris Micheal Stutzman and his wife, Serena of Hickman, NE, Dustin Matthew Stutzman and companion, Amanda Lance of David City, NE; his step-son, Jeremiah James Christian of Prior Lake, MN; his sisters, Susan Hultman of Larkspur, CO and Shirley Bigelow of Clark, NE; his brothers, George H. Stutzman of Wamego, KS, Robert C. Stutzman of O'Neil, NE and Benny L. Stutzman of Hastings, NE; 5 grandchildren, Siera, Caden, Treyce, Dain, and Joe and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Stutzman and his brother, Jimmy Stutzman.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
