Michael Ray "Mike" Powers, 61, of Onaga, KS, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, KS. He was born June 13, 1959 in Kansas City, KS, the son of Ray Powers and Wanda L. (Pahmahmie) LaHue.

Mike lived in the Onaga community for 4 years and previously on the Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation. He worked as a mason brick layer for most of his life. He was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.

Survivors include his daughter, Rhiannon Leitterman of Parkville, MO; sister, Rochelle "Shelly" Johnson (Virgil) of Fairway, KS; brother, Steve Hope of Deltona, FL and 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathleen Powers and brother, Donald Powers.

Graveside Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2021 at Shipshee Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
