AITKENS
CIRCLEVILLE – Michael Levi Aitkens (Kwa-kee), 30, of Circleville, KS died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at an Overland Park Hospital. He was born July 19, 1977 in Oklahoma City, OK the son of Maurice "Mo" and Joyce Moberg Aitkens. He had moved to Circleville from Mobile, Alabama a few years ago and worked in construction. He was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation and attended the Potawatomi Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his parents, Mo Aitkens and his wife, Linda of Circleville, KS and his mother, Joyce Nash of Mobile, AL. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Adrian and Maurice Aitkens.
Drum services will be Monday evening, February 11, 2008, at the Danceground Building west of Mayetta. Burial will be in the Danceground Cemetery Tuesday afternoon. He will lie in state Sunday and Monday until 3:00 p.m. at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
