Megan Renee Meadows, 29, of Overland Park, KS, formerly of Horton, KS, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 6, 2024 at her home. She was born October 7, 1994 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Eric Donald Meadows and Karen Frances Wahwasuck.

Megan earned her Certified Nurse's Aide and worked at Tri County Nursing Home and Mapel Heights in Hiawatha. Most recently she was a seamstress at a flag manufacturer in Overland Park.

She was a member of Kenneck Church and Kickapoo Tribe both of Horton.

Survivors include her mother, Karen Wahwasuck of Horton, KS; father, Eric Meadows of Crestview, FL; her son, Oakley Poston and his father, Tyler Poston both of Horton, KS; sisters, Erika Meadows of Leavenworth, KS and Bayleigh Meadows of Crestview, FL; maternal grandmother, Arlene Wahwasuck of Horton, KS; paternal grandmother, Linda Whalen of Flaherty, KY; a niece, nephews and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Francis "Big Man" Wahwasuck and paternal grandfather, Donald Meadows.

Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2024 at Kennekuk Cemetery. A Gathering and Meal will follow at the Kickapoo Community Building.
