Maurine McKee, 95 of New Underwood, SD formerly of Goff died Friday, June 9, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in New Underwood, SD. She was born February 24, 1911 in Burlington, CO. She was the daughter of J.C. and Ethel Abbott Pearce.
Maurine married Roy Leland McKee on April 25, 1933 in Goodland, KS. They later moved to Goff, KS, where they made their home for many years. Roy preceded her in death on June 30, 1971. She spent her last years in New Underwood, SD. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Senti and a brother, George Pearce.
She is survived by a son, James McKee and his wife Kay of New Underwood, SD; a daughter Carol Bowers of League City, TX; grandchildren, James McKee, Jr. of Abilene, TX, Kelly Hoff and her husband Roy of Clinton, UT, Scott Graber and Allison Graber both of Austin, TX; great grandchildren, David and Kalyn Hoff of Clinton, UT.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Goff, KS. Memorials may be given to the Good Samaritan Nursing Home and sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
