Obituary
Matthew Daubon, 83, of the Potawatomi Reservation, passed away the evening of March 24, 2013 at Stormont Vail Hospital. He was born November 10, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Alice Daubon.
Matthew was a member and Elder of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. His pride and joy was his grandson, David Lee Daubon.
Survivors include 4 sons, Matthew Daubon, Jerry Daubon, David Daubon and his wife Karen of Mayetta, KS and Douglas Daubon of Milwaukee, WI; 3 daughters, Cheryl Daubon, of New Hampshire, Debbie Daubon of Wisconsin and Norene "Sunshine" Daubon of Michigan; 6 grandchildren; his sisters, Alvina Johnson and E. Sue Bird both of Milwaukee, WI; and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
A rosary will be recited 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 with a memorial service to follow at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
