HOLTON- Mary Jo Heugel, 85, of Holton, KS, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Medicalodge Jackson County. She was born January 8, 1936 in Clay Center, KS the daughter of Earl and Letha (Wood) Bray.

Mary worked as a cook for various restaurants. She attended the 1 ^st Baptist Church in Holton.

Mary married David Godfrey Heugel on May 8, 1982. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1997.

Survivors include 2 sons, Charles Clark and Carl Clark; 2 daughters, Martha Austine and Melissa Turner and a sister, Dorothy Palister (Leland) of Hutchison, KS.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be given to Mercer Funeral Home to help with expenses c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
