Mary Jo Doyle-Fitch, 53, of Towanda, KS formerly of Holton, passed away Thursday September 22, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.


She was born September 27, 1957 in Holton the daughter of Joe and Mary (Eckert) Doyle. She graduated from Holton High School and later attended Kaw Valley Technical School. She was the manager at Big Sky Boutique and was formerly employed with Coldwater Creek and Calico Corners.


On April 7, 1984 she married William "Bill" Fitch in El Dorado, Kansas. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her parents, Joe and Mary Doyle of Holton, KS: her sons, Steve Fitch (Amy) of Andale, KS and Brad Fitch of Augusta, KS; her sisters, Shirley Mick (Kermit) of Holton, KS and Cherrie Kehler (David) of El Dorado, KS; her brothers, Lee Doyle (Pam) and Dan Doyle (Pat) both of Holton, KS; her granddaughters, Maddison and Maloree Fitch and her four nieces and nine nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Fitch.


Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton with burial following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton with visitation to follow. Memorials may be given to Kansas K9 ResQ and left in c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O.
