Mark Taylor McAfee, 66, of Lawrence, KS passed away Sunday, July, 21, 2024 at his home in Lawrence, KS. He was born February 5, 1958 the son of Dale H. and Carol S. (Skow) McAfee.

Mark grew up in Brazil, South America and was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, which he joined straight out of High School.  In the Marines Mark was a helicopter mechanic which led to his electronic automotive repair career. He was an avid Harley Davidson fan, of which he owned several over the years and rode as often as he could!

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Steven D. McAfee.

Mark is survived by two sisters, Linda M. Teixeira (Paulo) of Marlborough, MA and Irene D. Smith (Keith) of Panama City, FL; three brothers, Philip K. McAfee (Tabita) of Brazil, South America, Samuel J. McAfee of Panama City, FL and Daniel K. McAfee (Tanessa) of Navarre, FL; a sister-in-law, Patty McAfee (Steven) of Lake Park, IA and many nieces and nephews.

A private family Memorial Graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024. Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls is in charge of arrangements.
