Marilynn Kay Junod, 54, of Topeka, KS passed away February 10, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She was born September 5, 1956 in Sabetha, KS the daughter of Christian Theodore and Elizabeth Hulda Baker Junod.
She graduated from Jackson Heights High School in 1975. She lived in the Whiting community for 25 years and had previously lived in Soldier and Havensville. She worked for the Onaga Sewing Factory and later worked for the Flairfold Shutter Factory in Hiawatha for 21 years.
Marilynn is survived by a brother, Walter Junod and his wife Rosemary of Soldier, KS; a sister, Patricia James and her husband Mark of Topeka and many nieces and nephews.
The family will have a memorial service 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the Soldier Christian Church. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Soldier Cemetery.
