Marilyn Kaye Seeger, 82, of Holton, KS, formerly of Denison, KS, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, with family by her side. She was born July 17, 1941 in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of Harold and Grace Martin.

Marilyn graduated from Topeka High School and attended Brown Mackie School of Business. She worked for over 30 years for the State of Kansas in the Civil Rights Commission Department.

She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, Red Hat Club and TOPS all of Holton. She also served on Denison City Commission. Marilyn had a passion for reading and crafts.

Marilyn married Clifford Dean Seeger on June 20, 1964 in Topeka, KS. They celebrated over 45 years of marriage before his passing on February 13, 2010.

Survivors include 2 sons, Jeff Seeger (Michaela) of Leavenworth, KS and Greg Seeger (Amy) of Canton, GA; daughter, Jennifer Reed (David) of Soldier, KS; 10 grandchildren, Trenton, Trista and Tanner Reed, Garret, Julian Seeger and Hunter Higgins and Channing, Grace, Maddox and Kyre Seeger and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at Denison Cemetery. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
