Marilee A. Cline, 96, of Holton, KS passed away Monday, July 1, at Medicalodge Jackson County. She was born October 3, 1916 in Chanute, KS the daughter of Joseph and Celeste (Gadberry) Gossett. Marilee was a homemaker and she and her husband enjoyed buying and selling antiques.

Marilee married Arthur Boon Cline on December 17, 1936 in Yates Center. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1998. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie Gilliland (Keith ) of Holton, KS; 3 grandchildren, Brad Gilliland (Michele) of Pleasant Hill, MO, Jeffery Gilliland (Peggy) of Leavenworth, KS and Joni White (Dennis) of Holton, KS; 8 great-grandchildren, Joshua Gilliland (Julie) of Lee's Summit, MO, Josiah Gilliland (Audrey) of Medical Lake, WA, Daniel Gilliland of Pleasant Hill, MO, Ragen Dennis (Byron) of Greenwood, MO, Nanci Kennedy (Jacob) of Holton, KS, Kennedy White of Topeka, KS, Joni Nicole Wardosky (David) of Dupont, WA and Jenna Gilliland of Shawnee, KS and 5 great great-grandchildren, Stuart Gilliland, Lincoln Gilliland, James Gilliland, Stella Claire Kennedy and Cameron Wardosky.

Upon Marilee's wishes, cremation has take place. A private family gathering will be held at the time of inurnment. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
