Marguerite Claire Dennison, 91, Winchester, formerly of Kansas City, KS, died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at the Senior Living Center at the F.W. Huston Medical Center at Winchester.

She was born on Jan. 2, 1923, at Merriam, KS, the daughter of Ralph and Jewel Hamilton Dennison. She graduated from Wyandotte High School and attended Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Claire had worked as a retail clerk at the T G & Y Variety Store in Kansas City, KS. She married Howard Lee. They later divorced. She married William Orrison. They were divorced.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Orrison, and two daughters, Maureen Christopher and Marilyn Hollis.

Survivors include a daughter, Eva (Rick) Lewis, Eau Claire, WI; and a brother, Ralph Dennison, Birchwood, WI.

Claire donated her body to the University of Kansas Medical Center. No services are scheduled at this time. Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls is in charge of arrangements.
