Augusta- Margaret Ellen Hart, 77, of Augusta, KS formerly of Holton, passed away June 22, 2009 at Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita, KS. She was born November 30, 1931 in Holton, KS the daughter of Lozelle and Grace Bergin Kunkler.
She was a graduate of Holton High School, a housewife and homemaker and had attended St. James Catholic Church in Augusta.
Margaret married Raymond Lyle Hart, Jr. on August 31, 1950 in Wetmore, he passed away on August 30, 2005.
Survivors include a son, Bill Hart (Julie) of Columbia, MO; 2 grandchildren, Michael and Ashlee Hart of Columbia, MO; a sister, Suzanne Biggs (Gale) of Boulder, CO; a niece, Roxanne Bennis of Strafford-upon-Avon, England and a nephew, Bruce Biggs-Gregory of Centennial, CO.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Wetmore Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Wetmore American Legion c/o Mercer Funeral Home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
