BAUER

NETAWAKA - Marceline Ruth Bauer, 88, of Topeka, formerly of Netawaka, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Lexington Park Nursing Home in Topeka.
She was born October 6, 1918, in Falls City, NE, the daughter of Louis and Emma Fehr. She had worked at the Slimaker Dress Factory in Holton and helped her husband, Robert, on the farm in Netawaka. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Netawaka and a member of the Ladies Aide at the church. She also attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Topeka.
She married Robert W. Bauer on March 2, 1940 in Falls City, NE. He died March 14, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marion Bishop and 2 brothers, Leonard and Glenn Fehr.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Karon Gambrill of Oskaloosa, KS, Marcia Sorrell of Murfreesboro, TN, Susan Koch of Topeka, KS; a sister, Dorothy Wissman of Falls City, NE; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2007 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Netawaka. Burial will be in the Netawaka Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorials may be given to the Dakota Boys Ranch sent c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
