Manuel V. Branam, 84, of Mayetta died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Holton Hospital. He was born August 29, 1922 in Muscotah the son of Henry Lloyd and Leona Boggs Branam.
He had worked construction and had served in World War II in the Army. He is survived by a daughter, Sharon Thomas of Topeka; a son, David Branam of Ozawkie; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 6 sisters; 5 brothers; and one great granddaughter.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends Friday evening from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be given to Manuel V. Branam memorial fund and sent in c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, Kansas 66436.
