Madaline M. Tincher, 83, passed away May 24, 2013 in Newport Beach, CA.

She was born November 11, 1929 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Roger W. and Doris M. (Jones) Currier. She graduated from Topeka High School and later attended Washburn University where she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Madaline earned a Ph.D. and worked as a family/ marriage therapist for over 25 years in the Greater Los Angeles area.

She is survived by: her son, Dwight Tincher of Perris, CA; her daughter, Victoria Matz of Napa, CA; her sister, Judy Smith of Holton, KS; her grandchildren, Dawn, Janna, Will and Katie, and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jordan, Gavin and Katrina. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Gregory Tincher in 1977 and William "Randy" Tincher, Jr. in 2010.

Interment will be 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 5th, 2013 in Mayetta Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Madaline's name for Heart of Jackson Humane Society and left in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, 66436.
