Lucy Lucille Greemore, 83, of Holton died Monday, September 24, 2012 at Golden Acres Nursing Center in Onaga, KS. She was born April 20, 1929 in Delia, KS. Lucy was the daughter of Andrew and Clara Duesenberry Hedrick.

Lucy was a homemaker and worked as a desk clerk for several motels. She had lived in Topeka before moving to Holton in 1995.

Lucy married Guy Charles Greemore on February 10, 1947 in Holton. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Kuhn; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Lucy is survived by a daughter, Jerry Mills and a son, Guy Charles Greemore, III both of Holton; sisters, Sara Greemore of Topeka and Alice Bonham of California; 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Ms. Greemore was cremated. Private family services will be held at Netawaka Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Golden Acres c/o Mercer Funeral Home, PO Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
