Louise Davis, 86, of Holton formerly of Butler, MO died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Holton Community Hospital. She was born on June 29, 1923 in Taberville, MO. She was the daughter of Charles Monroe and Edna Weir Lukenbill.
She graduated from Appleton High School, and was a bookkeeper for her husband's fertilizer business. She was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints.
Louise married Buzz Davis on January 1, 1944. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2007. She was also preceded by a son, Charles Davis on January 15, 1962, and 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Louise is survived by her daughter, Betty Cashier and her husband, Larry of Holton; grandchildren Kelle and Barry Ireland, Deanna and Kevin Moege, and Jerry and Cheri Cashier; great grandchildren, Dean, Kyle, Leslee, Cody, Morgan, Caitlyn, and Scott.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler, MO. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, MO.
