Louis "Louie" B. Reppert
Louis B. Reppert, 95, Valley Falls, died Monday, July 30, 2007, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
Louie was a dairyman and farmer northwest of Valley Falls. He was a member of the Valley Falls United Methodist Church.
He was born May 17, 1912, at Valley Falls, the son of Louis A. and Mae U. Blue Reppert. He graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1930.
He married Eva L. Ball November 17, 1934, at Topeka. After retirement they spent the winter months at Fulton, Texas, for 29 years. They were members of the Restless Wheels and Sunflower Camping Clubs.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Reppert, on April 29, 2005; two sons, Donald L. Reppert, on July 23, 1935, and Jackie L. Reppert, on February 13, 1938; a daughter, Lois Ann Reppert, on March 2, 1941; a brother, George Reppert, and a sister, Blanche Ferrell.
Survivors include two nephews, Dean Ferrell, Topeka, and Max Ferrell, Overland Park; three nieces, Norma Macomber, Sue Reichle and Janice Stone, all of Atchison; and many great nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2007, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Burial will be at the Valley Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday.
