SEWELL
Holton—Lois M. Sewell, 85, of Holton died Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Holton Hospital. She was born October 19, 1920 in Holton, the daughter of John and Mary Linneman Niehaus. She lived in the Holton community since 1956 and was a homemaker.
Lois married Roy E. Sewell on December 23, 1939 in Hiawatha. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter Karen Sledd and her husband John of Tonganoxie and one grandson John H. Mellies of Huntington Beach, CA.
She was preceded in death by a sister LaVerne Brownfield and two brothers Loren and Leland Niehaus.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 26, 2006 at the Netawaka Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences are available at www.mercerfuneralhomes.com.
