Leslie Eugene Gibeson, 75, of Holton, KS, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Midland Hospice in Topeka, KS. He was born January 26, 1949 in Topeka, KS, the son of Evert L. and Dorothy L. (Morris) Gibeson.

Leslie graduated from Holton High School. He worked for Josten's Yearbook in Topeka as a printing machine operator for over 30 years before retiring.

He married Kathern Miller in 1971 at Ozawkie, KS, they later divorced.

Survivors include his 3 daughters, Angela Gibeson of Holton, KS, Pamela Gibeson of Effingham, KS, and Kristina Leu (Duke) of Stetsonville, WI; a sister, Teresa Rodgers of Horton, KS; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Evert and Dorothy Gibeson; 2 sisters, Cheryl Raymond, and Carol L. Gibeson; 2 brothers, Alan and David Gibeson, and 3 grandchildren, Cheyenne, Kyle and Taylor.

Memorial Graveside Service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Holton Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by Holton VFW Post 1367 and the Holton American Legion Post 44. Memorials may be given to the Holton VFW Post 1367 c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
