Leona "Vicki" Victoria Umscheid, 77, of Perry, KS, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her home. She was born September 2, 1945 in Sabetha, KS, the daughter of Leland H. & Leah F. (Spiker) Petersen.

She attended Highland Park High School in Topeka, KS. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker most of her life. She owned and operated a home daycare for many years.

Vicki was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Perry, KS.

She married Clyde Bernard Umscheid on February 9, 1968 in Miami, OK; they celebrated over 41 years of marriage before his passing on November 27, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Leah; and a brother, Tony Petersen.

Survivors include her four children, Brent Umscheid (Sarah) of Perry, KS, Stacey Weil (Johnny) of Edna, KS, Carolyn Cammarto (Ken) of Collierville, TN, and Garry Wells of Larned, KS; a sister, Kris Serrault (Dave) of Topeka, KS; a brother, Duane Petersen (Shirley) of Perry, KS; and 10 grandchildren.
