Leona Mae Bleier, 84, of Holton, KS passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at her home. She was born July 3, 1933 in Goff, KS the daughter of Dwight E. and Nola (Clelland) Glenn.

Leona graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1951. She lived in the Holton community for over 50 years. She worked for the Kansas State Bank in Holton for 27 years and served as a bank officer. Leona was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Holton and held many positions at the church, including Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of the Violet Club in Holton.

She married Larry Dean Bleier on February 5, 1955 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2010.

Survivors include 2 sons, David Bleier (Cheryl) of Parkville, MO and Daniel Bleier (Teresa) of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 daughters, Julie Shaw (Jeff) of Ozawkie, KS and Jill Bleier of Holton, KS; a sister, Mary Jane Oberhelman of Topeka; a brother, Dwight E. Glenn of Wichita, KS; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Holton. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
