WETMORE– Larry Gene LaNier, 63, Wetmore, KS, passed away October 31, 2021 at his home. He was born April 17, 1958, the son of Clifford Elroy and Marjorie Maxine (Thieme) LaNier. Larry graduated from Wetmore High School in 1977.

In January of 1979, Larry was married to Linda Singer. They later divorced.

Larry is survived by his mother, Marjorie M. LaNier of Wetmore, KS; 1 son, Randy LaNier of Wetmore, KS; 2 daughters, Crystal Sutton (Anthony) and Vicky Sowers (Quentin) both of Topeka, KS; 1 sister, Sharon DeVader (Dan) of Holton, KS and 5 grandchildren.

A private family graveside inurnment at the Wetmore Cemetery will be at a later date. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangement. Memorials may be given to the Larry LaNier Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
