Obituary

Kenneth C. Ingels, 74 of Malvern, IA formerly of Netawaka died Friday, July 8, 2011 in Omaha, NE. He was born on March 1, 1937 in Horton, KS, the son of Frank C. and Emeline R. McClaskey Ingels.
Ken graduated from Netawaka High School in 1955. He was a USDA Meat Inspector for 34 years before his retirement and worked in the Kansas/Nebraska areas.
Ken married Carol Coble on July 3, 1957. They were later divorced. Ken married Mary Beth Wright on June 9, 1990 in Holton. She survives. He is also survived by his chidren, Robert (Kim) Ingels of McCook, NE, Sherry Neifert of Duncan, OK, Deborah (Kelison) Helms of Westville, OK, Joselynn Ingels and William Ingels both of the home; sisters, Darlene (Kenny) Cattrell of Nortonville, KS and Joyce (Keith) Parrett of Circleville, KS; sister-in-law, Elsie Ingels of Topeka, KS; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Leatherman and a brother, Marvin Ingels.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Netawaka Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
