While at Fort Leonard Wood, their first child, Clark, was born. After moving back to Valley Falls, Keith and Pat raised their five kids: Clark, DeAun, Kent, Kirk and Susan. They farmed and raised cattle south of Valley Falls. Keith was also a Rural Mail Carrier in Valley Falls.
