HARLOW
HOLTON- Kathryn Fay Harlow, 48, of Holton, died suddenly on Sunday, October 8, 2006 in Topeka, KS.
She was born January 24, 1958 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of George H. and Josephine McCall McDermott. She graduated from Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA.
She married Mark E. Harlow on September 13, 1980 in Stafford, VA. They had three children, Joshua, Jesse and Jamie. They moved to Holton in 1994. She had resigned from the post office to become a mother and farmer. She most recently worked for Holton USD 336 and enjoyed her small farm.
She is survived by her husband, Mark E. Harlow, her three children; Joshua D. Harlow and Jesse C. Harlow both of Topeka, KS and Jamie L. Harlow of Holton, KS, her sister, Norma Jean Campbell of Nags Head, NC, her brothers; Gary McDermott of Nags Head, NC and Steve McDermott of Warrenton, VA, her two grandchildren, Madison and Ethan Harlow both of Topeka and eight nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2006 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. She will lie in state at the funeral home where family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening.
