TOPEKA-Kathleen M. Bell, 69, of Topeka, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at her home. She was born September 5, 1937 in Onaga, KS, the daughter of Paul and Otha Scofield Bell. She graduated from Tonganoxie High School in 1955. She worked for the SRS Dept. in Topeka for 27 ½ years.
She married Richard Spielman on May 22, 1955 in Tonganoxie, KS. He died May 23, 1985. Survivors include a son Richard Spielman II and his wife, Donna of Hoyt, KS, 2 daughters Candy Wahwassuck of Mayetta, KS, Otha Robinson and her husband, Steve of Holton, KS; a sister Nadine Wolfe of Heber Springs, AR; 11 grandchildren Raphael J. Wahwassuck, Paula L. Wahwassuck, Donny Robinson, Jessie Robinson, Jackie Robinson, Jennifer Robinson, Kristen Robinson, Joshua Robinson, Katelyn Spielman, Rebecca Spielman, and Richard WIlliam "Cody" Spielman II; and 11 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2007 at the Washington Cemetery in Washington, KS. Family will greet friends form 7-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorials may be given to the Kathleen Bell Memorial Fund sent c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
