E. June Campbell, passed away April 14, 2008 at her home in Hoyt. She was born January 24, 1928 in Braddyville, IA the daughter of Boyd Clay and Bessie Weston Collins.
She had lived in the Hoyt community since 1972 and had previously lived in Falls City, NE. June was a homemaker and a member of the Lakeview Faith Chapel in Holton, KS.
She married Everett A. Campbell on May 30, 1972 in Atchison, KS. He survives. Other survivors include 2 daughters, Sheryl Stremmel and Larice Murphy both of Holton; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren (including Michael and Jonathan Stremmel); and 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a daughter Lynna Kay Beagle; 2 sisters, Maxine and Freda, a brother, John and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Lakeview Faith Chapel, south of Holton, KS. Burial will be in the Hoyt Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorials may be given to the church c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
