Jon Brandon Williams

Jon Brandon Williams, 56, of Inola, OK, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026 at his home. He was born July 14, 1970 in Kansas City, KS, the son of George Blaine and J “Elaine” (Smith) Williams.

He graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1988. In his early years, he worked for Ace Hardware in Topeka, KS. He was an over-the-road truck driver for Swift Trucking for over 10 years and Jon was a security officer for 12 years in Tulsa, OK.

Jon loved his dogs, he enjoyed reading, and he had a keen mind for science and chemistry.

Survivors include his mother, Elaine Williams of Holton, KS; sister, Heather Crispin (Cris) of Holton, KS; nieces and nephews, Mitchell Hampton (Britttany) of Wichita, KS, Conner Hampton (Lorenzo) of Seattle, WA, Brenden Hampton (Ashlynn) of Houston, TX, Amanda Randa (Brett) of Hays, KS, Erin Burrell (Christian) of Hays, KS and Andrew Crispin of Holton, KS. Great-nieces and nephews, Maddix, Trip, Melody, Aydyn, Cooper, James, Marleigh and Holden.

Jon was preceded in death by his father George Blaine Williams; his grandparents, Clinton and Charlotte Williams and Glen “Bus” Smith and Eureva “Bebe” (Rowlen) Smith; and 2 great nephews, Rowan & Reed Randa.

Memorial Services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene in Topeka, KS. Memorials may be given to the Heart of Jackson Humane Society c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270 Holton, KS 66436.
