Obituary
John R. Russell, 47, of Hiawatha, passed away October 12, 2013 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was born August 19, 1966 in Topeka, the son of Huey and Esther L. (Kesselring) Russell.
Survivors include: his sister Erin Russell (Dan) of Whiting, KS; his brother James Russell of Muscotah, KS and his half-brother Doug Stout of Holton, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Kirsten Russell in 1971and his brothers Gregory Russell in 1986 and Patrick Russell in 1994.
John was cremated and private inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the John Russell Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, 66436.
