John took pride in all he did and all he had. He loved the outdoors, gardening, flowers and his yard. He also enjoyed being on his tractor and skid steer loader at the farm, whether it was work or play. He had to be busy all the time. If he put his mind to it, there wasn't anything he couldn't make and find an easier way to do it. It seems he always had a project or was thinking up one to do. He loved his wife, Darlene and family. The time spent with his son was very important to him.
Cremation is planned. John has requested there be no services, visitation or celebration of life. Memorials may be given to Faith Hospice c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
