MAYETTA- John Roscoe Brown, 67, of Mayetta, KS passed away, Monday, August 9, 2010 at his home. He was born October 18, 1942 in Denver, CO the son of Kenneth Rosco and Flossie Iona Hensley Brown. He had been in Mayetta for the past 25 years. He graduated from Circleville High School and served in the United States Air Force.
John lived in Holton, Kansas for many years where he worked at the Ford Dealership and as a G.E.D. instructor for NEKAP. He is survived by his sister, Delia Greenwood, of Mayetta, KS; his brother, Joe Brown of Denver, CO and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, Kansas. Inurnment will follow in the Olive Hill Cemetery west of Holton.
