John Cecil Armintrout, 65, of Bee Branch, Arkansas passed away December 17, 2013 due to injuries sustained in a car accident near Emporia, Kansas.
He was born May 6, 1948 in Denver, Colorado. He had worked as a counselor at a Boys Ranch in Colorado and Union Pacific Railroad.
He is preceded in death by his parents Cecil H. Armintrout and Zella O. Lock Armintrout.
John is survived by his sons, Terry J. Armintrout and spouse Jennifer L. Armintrout, Daniel J. Armintrout; daughters, Denice Klinge and Lisa Amato; sister, Kathleen A. Prince and spouse Herbert D. Prince; niece, Jonette K. Armintrout and spouse Brett S. Kiefer; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three nephews.
John was cremated. The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorials may be given to the John Armintrout Memorial Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, Kansas 66436.
