Joe McClintock
Topeka- Joe Robert McClintock, 78, of Topeka passed away January 4, 2010 at Presbyterian Manor. He was born October 20, 1931 in Mayetta, KS the son of Theodore and Irene Majors McClintock.
Joe served in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict and received a Purple Heart. He worked as a lineman for KP&L and retired after 40 years as a foreman. He was a member of the American Legion.
He married Delores Perry, they later divorced. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore McClintock and Gordon McClintock.
Survivors include a son, Theodore "Ted" McClintock and a daughter, Sandra McClintock both of Topeka; two sisters, Maxine Metzger of Topeka, Barbara Wrosch of Onaga and one granddaughter, Mary Bouguetta.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Mayetta Cemetery.
