Jesse Alan Wellman, 47, of Holton, KS, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Holton Community Hospital. He was born December 1, 1973 in Lyons, KS, the son of Bradley Nelson and Nancy S. (Steen) Wellman.

Jesse graduated from Sterling High School in 1992 and later graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's of Science in 1998. He worked in ammonia refrigeration at Tyson Foods in K.C., KS.

He was married to Karen K. Wacker September 5, 1998 in Vesper, KS. She survives of the home. Jesse is also survived by his mother, Nancy Heter (Robert) of Sterling, KS; his father, Bradley N. Wellman of Alden, KS; his son, Lee William Wellman and his 2 daughters, Abigail Renee Wellman and Julie Kay Wellman all of the home; his brothers, John Wellman (Carrie) of Alden, KS and Michael Wellman (Susan) of Hutchinson, KS.
