Jerry D. Patton, 86, of Holton, KS passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Medicalodge Jackson County. He was born February 7, 1925 in Goff, KS the son of Joe and Jessie (Henry) Patton.
Jerry graduated from Holton High School in 1943. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator, he owned and operated Cork & Jerry's Garage in Denison and was a production manager for BMB in Holton.
Jerry married Betty Jean Barnes on April 18, 1947 in Lawrence. She preceded him in death on March 13, 1995. He was also preceded by 2 sons, Mike and Pat Patton and a sister, Phyllis Feight.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Collins of Holton; 7 grandchildren, Shannon Haire (Mike), Jory Collins (Casey), Morgan Collins, Casey Patton, Sam McKinney, Mechelle Wendt (Aaron) and Michael McKinney and 9 great grandchildren.
