JANICE BURGET

HOLTON- Janice Jean Burget, 67, of Holton, KS, formerly of Soldier, KS died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the Holton Hospital. She was born June 13, 1940 in Melvern, KS, the daughter of John and Faye Randel O'Brien. She graduated from Melvern High School in 1958.
Janice was a homemaker and had worked in Medical Records at Stormont Vail Hospital for 2 years. She lived in Soldier, KS from 1960 to 2005. She was married to Philip Charles "Chuck" Burget on May 14, 1960 in Miami, OK. He passed away on August 12, 1997. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Girardin and her husband, Hector of Carbondale, KS and Karen Yost and her husband, Bill of Topeka, KS; her son, Richard Burget and his wife, Niomi of Topeka, KS; her brother, Dean O'Brien and his wife, Roberta of Covington, TN and 5 grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will be in Soldier Cemetery.
