JAMES B. RAYMOND
James B. Raymond, 83, Valley Falls, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at Valley Health Care Center in Valley Falls.
He was born March 18, 1924, at Farmington, CT. He had worked at the Ford Motor Assembly Plant in Kansas City, MO and at General Motors in Detroit, MI.
He was a non-combat veteran of W.W.II, building landing runways in Canada.
He married Patricia Pudeck in 1950. They were divorced.
A committal service will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2008, at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. A memorial service will be at Valley Health Care Center at a later date.
