HOYT- James Gary Fuller, age 58, passed away March 5, 2009 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. He was born April 27, 1950 in Cloud County, KS the son of James F. and Shirley C. Lyne Fuller.
He lived in the Hoyt community since 1955 and graduated from Hoyt High School in 1969. He worked as a "paperboy" in Hoyt for nearly 10 years and worked at Goodyear in Topeka for over 30 years. He was a member of the Hoyt Baptist Church, a member of United Steelworkers Local #307 and past member of National Rifles Assoc.
James married Rhonda Dick on May 20, 1972 in Grantville, KS. She survives. Other survivors include his father, James F. Fuller of Hoyt, KS; a daughter, Jamie Cathcart (Craig) of Topeka; a son, Jason Fuller of Hoyt; two sisters Celeste Heine (Wilford) of Hoyt, KS and Cathy Moore (Bart Christian) Lecompton, KS; a brother, Tony Fuller (Donna) of Blue Rapids, KS and a granddaughter, Macey Cathcart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Fuller.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will be in the Buster Cemetery in Perry, KS. Memorials may be given to the NRA c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
