BRADLEY
HOLTON- James Richard Bradley, 73, of Holton, KS died Sunday, May 06, 2007 at the Holton Community Hospital. He was born July 22, 1933 near Holton, the son of Carl and Eleanor Bohannon Bradley and lived all of his life in the Holton community. He graduated from Holton High School in 1953.
Jim had worked for Goodyear for 28 years as a truck and grader tire inspector. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Jim was a member of the First Christian Church, United Steel Workers Union Local #307 and the Jackson County Senior Citizens. He was a volunteer for Jackson County Friends of Hospice and belonged to the F.O.E. in Holton.
He was married to Linda Christensen on October 24, 1963. She passed away on June 5, 1991. survivors include 3 sisters, Helen Askren and her husband, Bob of Holton, Ethel Ann King and her husband, Charlie of Holton, Verda Gharst and her husband, Gary of Topeka. He is also survived by his companion of 10 years, Mary Child of Holton.
At Jim's request, private family services will be held at the Holton Cemetery. A register book will be available for friends to sign at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
