TOPEKA- Jacquelyn Ann Shea, 81, of Topeka, KS, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka. She was born January 4, 1939 in Paxico, KS the daughter of Melvin and Beulah Vern (Schumaker) Shutter.

Jacquelyn graduated from Topeka High School in 1957 and completed dental hygienist school. In her early years, she worked for Southwestern Bell and Montgomery Wards. After schooling, she was a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Melkus, Dr. Scott Beelman and Dr. Hargrave all of Topeka.

She married Larry Michael Shea on November 20, 1965 in Rossville, KS, he preceded her in death.

Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her parents and her step-dad, Alonzo "Junie" Sauls.

Survivors include her daughter, TeriAnn Shea Moneymaker (Heath Delany) of Circleville, KS; a sister, Karen Spica of St. Charles, MI; a brother, Tim Sauls of Topeka, KS; a granddaughter, Ashlea Nelson (Jason) of Circleville, KS; a step-granddaughter, Taelor Belshe (Henry)  of Valley Falls, KS and 3 great-grandchildren, Tryston, Macyn and Paisley.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2020 at the Holton Cemetery. Jacquelyn will lie in state at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton beginning Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Memorials may be given to the Jacquelyn Shea Memorial Fund (to be designated at a later date to help with Autism research).
