Jacquelyn Sue "Jackie" "Wamigokwe" Maheo noh" Levier, 46, of Mayetta, KS, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She born January 29, 1976 in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of Joseph Grant and Rosanna (Whiteskunk) Jessepe.

Jackie graduated from Royal Valley High School in 1994 and attended Kaw Valley Vo-Tech in Topeka. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church and Native American Church.

Jackie married John Henry Levier on March 17, 2008 in Topeka; they celebrated over 13 years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, John of the home; her mother, Rosanna Jessepe (Ron) of Mayetta, KS; step-mother, Mary Jessepe of Mayetta, KS; 4 children, Sydney Jessepe of Mayetta, KS, Sylvana Levier-Jessepe of Tama, IA, Ivan Levier of Mayetta, KS and Alyssa Levier of Mayetta, KS; 3 sisters, Jodi Jessepe of Mayetta, KS, Leslie Marshno of Topeka, KS and Rose Charisse Warrior of Mayetta, KS; brother, Andrew Ortega of Topeka, KS and 2 grandchildren, Frankie Jessepe and Delena Kitchkommie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Jessepe.

Dinner and Rosary will be Thursday evening, February 17, 2022 in Sister Therese Klepac Hall at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church west of Mayetta. Private Family Native American Services will be Friday. Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Shipshee Cemetery.
