MAYETTA- Jackie Ray "Jack" Reynolds, Sr., 83, of Mayetta, KS passed away November 28, 2011 at his home. He was born April 26, 1928 in Turley, OK the son of William R. and Ethel Mae (Bell) Reynolds.

Jack had lived in the Mayetta area for about a year and had previously lived in Kendall, KS from 1960 to 2011; he had also lived in Chelsea, OK. He worked for Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa, OK, was a custodian for Kendall schools and retired as a manager from Bunge Grain Elevator also in Kendall.

He attended the Kendall United Methodist Church, 32º Mason with the Emerald Lodge # 289 and a member of the Order of Eastern Star both in Lakin, KS, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Garden City, KS and Isis Shrine Temple of Salina, KS.

Jack married Norma Jean Garner in May 1945 in Chelsea, OK. She passed away on January 7, 2010.

Survivors include his children, Eugene L. Reynolds (Sharon) of Rocky Ford, CO, Karen S. Immenschuh of Mayetta, KS, Johnny C. Reynolds (Fonda) of Pueblo, CO and Joyce A. Horning of Fresno, CA; a sister, Anna M. Whitwell of Chelsea, OK; 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter, Sophie Kay Mannel.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jackie R. Reynolds, Jr. in 2003; a son-in-law, Warren Immenschuh in 2007; a sister, Ada Victory and 2 grandchildren, Douglas R. and Mekayla Reynolds.

Funeral service with Masonic
Rites will be 10:30 a.m. Mountain Time, Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Kendall United Methodist Church in Kendall, KS. Interment will be in the Kendall Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. MT Friday at the church. Jack will lie in state Wednesday and Thursday at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
