Jack Horner, 78, Holton, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Holton Community Hospital. He was born March 18, 1941 in Holton, Kansas the son of Raymond Lee and Gertrude (Daniels) Horner. He graduated from Holton High School in 1960.

Jack served in the U.S. Air Force, and while there he met and united in marriage to Sherrie Levenson in 1963. After 26 years of marriage, they divorced, but remained very close friends to the very end. To this union they shared a daughter Rebecca.

He owned and operated his own courier business called Contract Courier in Minneapolis, Minnesota for around 10 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Horner Rosen (Yosef) of Los Angeles, California; a brother, Dean Horner of Ponca City, Oklahoma; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Anderson of Holton, Kansas and 3 grandchildren, Lyla, Ora and Asa Rosen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, June Longo and Wilma Lee Anderson; a sister-in-law, Martha Horner.

A memorial graveside service may be scheduled in the spring of 2020. When a date becomes available an updated obituary will be posted.
