Ingrid K. Keithline, 92, formerly of Netawaka, KS passed away January 18, 2011 at Medicalodges Jackson County.
She was born May 12, 1918 in Ellsworth, Kansas the daughter of Homer and Augusta (Lindquist) Hand. She graduated from Kanopolis High School in 1936. On September 17, 1940 Ingrid married Kenneth L. Keithline in Salina, Kansas. The couple made their home in Netawaka for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and was well known for her cinnamon rolls and doughnuts. Kenneth preceded her in death on November 28, 2003 after 62 years of marriage.
She is survived by: her son, H.B. Keithline (Carol) of Netawaka, KS; her daughters, Billie Winsor (Bill) of Topeka, KS, Colleen Reamer (Kenneth) of Delia, KS and Carole Koci (Milton) of Topeka, KS; and her eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ingrid was also preceded in death by their daughter, Kathryn Lynne, two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2011 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will be in the Netawaka Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Netawaka United Methodist Church and may be left in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton 66436.
