HOLTON—Imogene K. Crow, 88, Holton, died Sunday, February 26, 2006 at the Holton Hospital.
Imogene was born May 17, 1917 in Holton, the daughter of R.E. and Meta Schaubel Singer. She graduated from Holton High School in 1935 and spent all of her life in the Holton community.
Imogene had worked for Santa Fe Railroad in Topeka for 8 years and at the Jackson County Treasurers' Office in Holton for several years. She then worked for the Denison State Bank in Holton for many years and retired as Senior Vice President. She was a member of the Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton. She attended the King's Daughters Sunday School Class, belonged to the Faith-Faust Circle and served as past treasurer for the church. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter #152 in Holton.
She married Howard Crow on November 28, 1943 in Holton. He survives. Other survivors include a son Keith Crow of Wichita, a sister Anna Faye Kesner of Scottsdale, AZ, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Evangel United Methodist Church sent c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
