HOLTON-Imogene Beamer, 86, of Holton, died June 26, 2007 at the Holton Hospital. She was born June 2, 1921 in Clarksville, AR, the daughter of Charles E. Edwards and Lillie Laster. Imogene was a graduate of Clarksville High School in Arkansas in 1936. She was a member of Netawaka United Methodist and a former member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church in Tulsa. She was a homemaker.
Imogene was married to Archibald Beamer on September 26, 1943, he preceded her in death on January 25, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her nephew, Steve Clark; sister, Louise (Edwards) Clark; brothers, Burce Edwards and Dennis Edwards.
Imogene is survived by nieces, Connie Niquette, Woonsocket, RI, Linda McCoy, Pittsburg, KS; nephews, Jim Jones, Netawaka, Bill Jones, Holton, Bob Beamer, Mulvane, John Beamer, TX, Richard Edwards, CA; great-nephew, Steve Montelle Clark of Tulsa, OK.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Mercer Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK.
