HOWARD DALE McBRIDE SR.

A graveside memorial service for Howard Dale McBride SR will be
at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 25, 2006, at the Valley Falls Cemetery.
Mr. McBride died Saturday, February 4, 2006, at his home in Lenexa, KS.
He was born June 6, 1925, at Rock Creek, the son of Howard H. and
Ethel M. Glassel McBride. He owned Dale's Mortgage Company in Kansas
City, MO. He had also owned and operated Leavenworth Furniture Mart
in Leavenworth and a farm implement dealership in Washington Co.
Earlier in his life he was a farmer and rancher in Jefferson Co.
He married Ferne L. Kenyon on July 4, 1946. She survives of the
home. He was preceded in death by two great grandchildren.
Other survivors include, two sons, Howard D. McBride II and wife, Linda, Basehor, and
Larry D. McBride, Arvada, CO; three daughters, Kathleen M Courkamp and husband Terry,
Amarillo, TX, Linda K. Hulce and husband John, Overbrook, and Carol A. McBride, Lavale,
MD; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A visitation in Feb. was at Davis Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth.
Cremation followed. Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls is assisting
the family with the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the donor's charity of choice.
